Turned to Gold: Vinyl is HERE

Post-herb school life has been a moveable feast. With exams complete on June 1, I promptly hit the road with news songs in tow. After an almost four year hiatus from touring in Canada, it felt incredible to discover that I am better at this songwriting thing than I thought I was (working on the positive self-talk). Thank you everyone for listening to Turned to Gold. Those of you who have been holding out for the big vinyl, your wait is over. It’s available in Canada/UK to purchase here. UK & European listeners, I’ll have to send it to you personally, so please get in touch.

Musician’s Health & Herbs Vol. 1 - Online Workshop January 18

Becoming a herbalist has always been about supporting my artistic practice financially. I realised if I wanted to be a musician for the rest of my life, I couldn’t be one every day of my life. But… I struggle with having a boss and much prefer to work with people than for them, hence being self-employed. I later discovered that herbal medicine and working with people’s health would provide such creative material. It requires much gentleness and reverence, which I’m slowly learning because I am by nature a bull in a china shop. If you’re interested in the other side of what I do, I’m hosting the first of what I hope to be many online Musician’s Health & Herbs workshops on January 18. We will look at performing artists’ occupational health from a holistic, preventative health and Western herbal medicine perspective. Anyone can attend online, but it is geared toward working musicians. Get in touch via email to RSVP.
